Hey, here's a map of Asian Russia -- all 8 time zones of it. Look above for the Buryatia Region, and there I am in Ulan Ude, just a bit east of Lake Baikal & 4 time zones west of the Pacific Ocean. If you went south a bit, you'd bump into Mongolia.
